FBHFH would like to thank the Maryam Islamic Center in SugarLand for the generous donation of $2500 in support of our mission to end poverty and substandard housing in Fort Bend County. The Maryam Islamic Center serves as a shining example of interfaith collaborations and we look forward to our continued partnership to strengthen communities through the building of homes, hope, and opportunities for families to help themselves.

Maryam Islamic Center was founded in 2003 and is a 501 (c) non-profit organization located in Sugar Land, TX, and is an institution that is run under the Islamic Society of Greater Houston. It serves its own Sugar Land community, as well as its guests from all over Houston.

MIC provides prayer services for the 5 daily prayers and the Friday prayer. MIC serves its educational purpose as well, with its full time Weekend Islamic School, along with the Weekday Hifz and Nazra class. MIC also holds various halaqas and programs for the community. Maryam Islamic Center is located at 504 Sartartia Rd, Sugar Land, TX 77479. The location is in the heart of the New Territory community.
